Prior to joining Wallace L. Murray in December 1988, Ross was on the General Counsel for the McCain Group of Companies and previously had been the Legal Counsel with Domtar Inc. in Montreal.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Waterloo Lutheran University in 1973 and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Lakehead University, Ross then obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor in 1977.
The practice of law is ever evolving, continuing education is a priority with Ross. He continues to take seminars and courses to keep up to date on the law and has taken the courses necessary to become a certified corporate Secretary, a Professional Administrator, and an Arbitrator and a Mediator.
Ross has been and continues to be involved in the Owen Sound community including as a member and a director of the Chamber of Commerce, serving on various City committees, assisting with the establishment of the Grey Bruce Community Foundation and continuing as a director of the Eva Leflar Donor Advised Fund, the largest single component of the Grey Bruce Community Foundation.
